The English department works to deliver instruction to develop critical thinkers who can effectively read, write, listen, and speak. It is our goal to help the students not only become critical thinkers but also, lifelong learners. We hope to foster a love of reading and appreciation for good writing; furthermore, we want our students to better understand their commitment to be effective readers and writers. Upon graduation, Lake Catholic Cougars will possess the necessary literacy skills and knowledge to empower their success in our diverse and interdependent world.
